HOW TO READ (STORYLINE WORKSHOP)

Link to the full course

Software Used: Articulate Storyline 360, Davinci Resolve 16 (Video Editing Tool)
Tools Used: Sony A7II, Two point lighting, Rode microphones

CONTEXT: People always ask me if I know how to use storyline and my answer is yes! However, my workplaces haven’t given me opportunities to complete and publish a final draft in Storyline (we primarily used Rise). This quick workshop is my attempt at showcasing my knowledge of Storyline. At the same time, I wanted to show people that when given the opportunity I can comfortably teach training content.

TIME: 6 Hours Total.

  • This course was created from scratch.

    • This is not something I have taught before; the content was written on 9/25/2020 after deciding I wanted to create my own Storyline course.

    • My home is my studio! I set up a room with two point lighting, connected myself to a Rode mic, and set up my camera on a tripod.

    • I edited the videos on Davinci Resolve.

    • NO Storyline templates were touched or viewed.

FEATURES

ON SCREEN INSTRUCTOR

I converted a room in my home into a recording studio! Using my camera and studio lighting, with the help of my roommate, I filmed myself teaching different aspects of this workshop.

I incorporated my videos to help guide the workshop while also giving breaks for people to engage in activities and practice exercises.
